DIFFERENT EXPERIENCES

What’s the difference between the various experiences?

  • Lunch & Learn - The Lunch & Learn experience is an educational workshop that is apx. 60 minutes. Chef Evelyn will present on the topic of your choice and there is also a live Q&A component for attendees. There isn’t any cooking involved, but everyone still has a scrumptious time! #FeedYourMind

  • Sips & Nibbles - The Sips & Nibbles experience is an interactive, condensed cooking experience. Participants will prepare a quick recipes along with Chef Evelyn. Perfect for small to medium sized groups. Apx 60 minutes. You bring the Sips, Chef Evelyn will teach the Nibbles. #AddSomeBubblyIfYouWantToGiggle

  • Eat Out At Home Cooking Class - This experience is like tuning in to a Live Cooking Show! Participants will watch Chef Evelyn create a full meal from start to finish in real time and can ask questions along the way. While participants aren’t cooking at the same time, they can view the replay of the class and cook along at their own speed. Apx 60-90 minutes. Perfect for larger groups. #EvelynLiveNotEmerilLive

  • DIY Interactive Dinner Party - The DIY Dinner Party, is when we will cook an entire meal together. You in your kitchen and me in my kitchen. In just 90 minutes, you will have an entire meal prepared from start to finish. From appetizer, entree, sides and dessert, you will definitely get to enjoy the fruits of your labor. Perfect for smaller, more intimate groups and special occasions. #LetsEat

GROUP SIZE

What if my group size doesn’t meet the minimum requirement?

  • If your group size falls below the minimum requirement, this is a great opportunity to partner with another chapter of your organization, another division/department/location in your company, or to share the experience with your family and friends. #SharingIsCaring

My group is really large, but we would like to do the DIY Interactive Dinner Party.

  • Having a large group prepare 4-5 recipes together definitely sounds appetizing, but in practical application is doesn’t create a great experience for those involved. I’ve been teaching cooking classes both in-person and online for over 11 years, and I can tell you from first hand experience that large groups do best in demonstration style formats such as the Eat Out at Home Cooking Class. Because there is a replay, participants can still come back to ‘cook along’ later if they prefer. My job and my goal is to ensure that everyone has an amazing time. #NoBadAfterTaste

FUNDRAISING

Our group would like to use this event as a fundraiser, how can we do that?

  • Similar to hosting an event or gala, if you would like to use the virtual cooking experience as a fundraiser, you are more than welcome to increase the amount to attend and use the additional funds for your cause. #CookUpSomeDough

Do you donate your services for non-profits?

  • While Chef Evelyn is honored to have the opportunity to partner with you on your cause, at this time she is only available for compensated work/services. Are the ingredients easily available at a variety of grocery stores?

As the group size increase, the rates decrease. #TheMoreTheMerrier

  • Also, if you are a company with a health and wellness plan/budget, your department or office can leverage those funds to host an event. This is typically the most common option among business groups. #FoodIsHealth

PAYMENTS

How do you receive payments?

  • Upon booking you will be sent an electronic invoice. You can fulfill that invoice online. Please be advised, that if you choose to mail in your payment, your event date will not be reserved until payment is received.

Can our group have each individual pay you directly?

  • Since the group rates are based on number of participants, Chef Evelyn accepts one payment for the experience.
